SWES and IETS 2024 Summary
It’s 2024 and we’re so excited for a new year of tradeshows and interacting with the assisted reproductive technology communities for both human clinical and animal breeding/research fields!
Our team attended two tradeshows in January 2024 to start the new year right. On January 4-6, our team attended SWES (Southwest Embryology Summit) in Mesa, AZ, USA. We also attended our first joint conference of the year on January 8-12 with our sister company of the Hamilton Thorne Group, IVFtech, at the IETS (International Embryo Technology Society) 50th annual meeting in Denver, CO, USA.
SWES 2024
The SWES annual conference is geared toward embryologists and andrologists and provides a great opportunity to learn about the latest IVF topics. During SWES, our sales team member Mike Magee provided a presentation on Automation in ART. The presentation outlined important elements such as the necessities for a successful cycle and new automated methods of ART, such as automated Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI). At the booth, our team enjoyed speaking with IVF professionals and discussing options for improving their lab with our full range of ART equipment.
IETS 2024
The IETS conference serves as a meeting to further the science of animal embryo technology in a variety of species. Our sister company IVFtech provides innovative solutions for assisted reproduction, such as IVF workstations, anti-vibration tables, incubators, and other ART equipment and consumables.
Together, our team presented our blended product portfolio to veterinary doctors, IVF Scientists, and embryologists at IETS. Attendees were happy to learn that we can help supply IVFtech’s FreyGen incubator to their labs in the North American regions, along with other complementary reproductive technology such as our ZANDAIR air purification systems. Over the years, we have been proud to help veterinarians and animal caretakers perform important ART techniques such as genetic preservation, cloning, and embryo transfer. One of our long-time customers from the cattle breeding industry also stopped by and told us how their XYClone laser has helped their research over many years!
We are so thankful to see our customers and meet new professionals in the industry at these conferences throughout the year and we can’t wait to attend the next two upcoming conferences: PCRS (Pacific Coast Reproductive Society) for the human clinical field and SOT (Society of Toxicology) for the animal research space. Hope to see you there!
